Ephemeral

Very nice work here.
I especially like how you located the light source over the point of action in the shot, rather than somewhere where it could create a focal point that distracted from the actor.

I was image searching for 'Ephemeral' with a search engine, and I came across this.

It caught my eye, and it gave me a melancholy sort of vibe. For me, It provokes thoughts of mortality and identity.

So I wrote something to describe the scene I was imagining.

He was smiling, silhouetted as he stood facing into the sunlight. That is what I'll always remember of him. That image of my friend just before the moment in which, without protest or appeal, he ceased to be.
